Working as a team!November 2nd, 2015 by TirNua Anna Leave a comment Share on Facebook
Today we have the pleasure of introducing a new feature in Tirnua.
This is something we have wanted to have for a long time, but it hasn’t been possible to implement with our old system. Now after the server upgrades, new Flash versions and some core changes to the game, here it is:
You can now get extra benefits for working together in the game!
For every person it finds, it will add a little efficiency.
So the more people are walking together in the same room, the more energy everyone will be generating!
The Basic Black Exercise Coordinator
So, how much will it increase your output?
This depends on what type of “Excoord” you have.
The basic black is the only one you can buy in the Tirnua VIP store.
With the Basic Black, the efficiency increase levels out after 3 players.
When you turn it on - 100%
1 person starts walking - 104%
2 people start walking - 107%
3 people start walking - 110%
4 people - 110%
5 people - 110%
6 people - 110% and so on
That is how much it increases the energy you would have gotten without the Excoord.
Rare versions - and new badges!
3D printing time! Residents can scan the basic black Exercise Coordinator with a 3D scanner, and print it with a 3D printer. If you try for a rare, you can get the other versions.
The rarest ones are very exclusive (i.e. prepare to empty all of your windmills, just saying).
There is also a new badge for printing all the rare ones.
Rare version statistics
The rare versions will increase the energy output more and take more players into account.
It goes like this (at time of release):
Black - levels out after 3 players
Red - levels out after 5 players
Blue - levels out after 6 players
Sparkly Pink - levels out after 9 players
Classy Wood - levels out after 12 players
The increase is also higher per player for the better versions. If you have one of the rarest versions and a bunch of friends to come over, you can really churn out that energy!
We want hosting to be a thing. You need to be a roommate to start the excoord.
The roommate doesn’t have to stay in the room forever though. If that roommate leaves, the excoord still keeps running. It will stop when everyone has left the room.
There is a permission setting. We recommend changing it to “Only me” or “Me and roommates”.
Without the setting everyone will be able to disconnect the battery and stop the Excoord, which could be fairly annoying.
Related bug fixes
- It’s now easier to see how much energy you are creating. The floating flash display has been cleared up.
We’d love to hear your feedback!
See you at the party,
